No dogs allowed during the months of July and August on Sandy, Tunstall and Bowen Bay beaches. The Animal Control Officer may seize and impound dogs unlawfully at large. Stop when you see the school bus with its lights flashing. Expect to meet slow moving machinery, horse riders, cyclists, pedestrians, work crews and, in winter, snow plows and sand trucks.
